Unless OP there were signs up stating the offer was still on then quite simply its your fault for presuming and not checking when you went back into the store.

You could always get them refunded?

12 bottles would last me 12 weeks. So I must have an alcohol problem then? I mean ... 1 bottle a week (approx 12-15 units) is astounding eh?

Its not your money but the OP's so not sure why your saying the OP has a problem when you dont know the OP, maybe they had some special occaisons coming up, some birthday presents to use a bottle of wine for.

When you have no idea why the OP bought 12 bottles of wine, and it's frankly none of your business, do you not think you should save your ridiculous judgemental preaching for a more appropriate place rather than a money saving forum ?
And actually, with today's news, maybe the OP had a premonition and was scheduling a party to mark the passing of Margaret Thatcher ?
