This is the first time I have posted on here as I was hoping to go down the route of reclaiming my charges - but I have just seen this on the BBC website and wondered how this will effect everyone here....
Lloyds TSB has become the first bank to win a court case after being sued by a customer for imposing supposedly unfair overdraft penalty charges.
The article is quite a long one but apparently the judge has upheld the charges from Lloyds.0 -

The lad has the chance to appeal, so with any luck Martin Lewis, MSe and the ConsumerActionGroup will all get together and help him his appeal.
In my case, i had an order where the bank was supposed to send me documents, else they would get struck out... im hoping this will still stand...0 -

Lets hope so ! THis needs to be fought and maywell result in a better ruling that has legal status in the High Courts.0

Lets hope some whizz kid brief takes it to appeal and asks the court how 50 odd quid for little or no work could be fair ...........................................then again how much are these briefs an hour.
