Checking credit on O2 Sim Only Monthly Contract?
Options
Hi. Ive just recieved a Sim Only O2 Monthly contract sim (the 12 month Free for 200 mins and 250 texts on e2save as posted-which has not tracked on quidco for me either by the way, but thats ok).
Im new to O2 though and have no idea how to check the balance of mins and texts remaining per month. Ive tried the website and email which is useless and i dont want to pay for ringing customer services (Meanie!). Im using a Motorola L6 if it makes any difference. Sorry to be thick! Thanks in advance for your help as i really dont want to exceed my monthly allowance.
Thanks
KC

You can call customer services free on 100. They can tell you, and then may well suggest:
You'll be able to log in to your account online - you may need to contact them to ask your username and password if you don't already have them - and then -
View My Bill > Online Bill > Unbilled [menu on left]
then there is a small arrow and link on the panel, called Unbilled Charges To Date
then Inclusive Allowance Details
it usually updates to yesterday or sometimes the day before0 -
I've got the same O2 Sim card deal through e2save, but mine says 'Sim Inactive' when I put it in my phone. I
actually received it last week, but it does say up to 10 days on the e2save pack if porting using a PAC number (I am)
Did you ring O2/e2save to get it activated or did it just work out the box?0 -
im on o2 but on pay as you go, i can check my balances by sending the word BALANCE as a text to 20202 the text is free
Dont know if it works on contract tho0 -
Hi all, and thanks for the replies. Tried ringing 100 but message says contact service provider. Registered with Carphone Warehouse but thier website crashes my computer every time i try to view my bill. Registered with o2 but no options appear after View my bill. Texted 20202 and 2202 (rung this too) as Told by Carphone Warehouse staff!!! Dont think im fated to know this top secret info!
Mine did work out of the box but didnt port or anything - just put it into an old L6 and away i went. Shame im too scared to use it because im NOT allowed to know what my balance is LOL.
Thanks for kind advice - thanks for any other ideas that anyone may have.

As you were connected via e2save your service provider is O2 CPW and not O2. Calling 100 or registering at o2.co.uk is not applicable.
As you have found out, CPW's online billing is appalling. Your only other option is to use the automated system accessible by calling O2 CPW customer services.0 -
If you purchased you O2 contract via CPW, e2save or OSPS, you can call 0870 111 7200 and option 1,1 will get O2 sms your remaining minute. Unforutantely after 27 April, 08** number costs... that why I left O2.0
