This is a guess, so maybe better to ignore it.
Maybe lots and lots of thanked posts in gold and silver ramping threads that have then been pulled? Maybe the MSE forum doesn't then reduce the thanked posts count?I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

I'm guessing but I would imagine its to do with deleted threads? The post count would fall as the post is no longer there but the thanks tally is unaffected?
The only time I've come across PM as an abbreviation relates to private messaging, but then, I'm no expert.0 -
