What I was trying to get to is, are the tactics starting to change since they gained the ability to persue the RK, and are UKPC one of the worst behaved of the bunch?

I saw a couple of threads where people have got visits, althought I could only find one again was posted by yo-yo94, that was a different company, however I assume all of these companies operate the same tactics if they find some that work.

UKPC are tame. Are you getting them muddled with UKCPS who are loose cannons?

No-one has had a home visit over a fake PCN. Surely those links have been enough, it's just some junk mail.

Sounds like they are safe to ignore unless something arrives from a court.

That's basically it, and because UKPC don't do Court, you'll have a long wait and a laugh at their desperate letters in the meantime. :)

Sorry if I appeared sexist, I am just assuming they will screen targets prior to a visit, given a stack there best chance of scaring some money out of someone is not to turn up at 8pm to a male RK of a range-rover, if they aim at newish small family cars privatley registered to a female between 3:30 and 5:30 they have a good chance of getting a mother alone with children and a good credit card.

Not that I'm sexist either and also of course the above just ain't going to happen. But its simple to choose to close ones door to any unwanted caller isn't it? No caller is going to just stand there forever and of course if they keep ringing/knocking its a 111 call. Just can't see why you would be worried about some toothless debt collector even if they did turn up....which they won't.
