    doh......you may be right.......stuck in fix windows spyware/virus fix mode.....

    you can manually delete all the entries in the Outlook address book, delete all your emails, delete the identity...then do a secure delete maybe ( Ace Utilities overwrites deleted files) ??

    Why don't you just format the drive to erase everything? Or are you trying to give it away with a working operating system?

    If you are just give the recipient your Windows installation CD then they can start from afresh.

    if you don't do a re-format, then even when Identities are deleted, detail of them remains in this folder, so probably worth deleting them

    C:\Documents and Settings\~username~\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities
