Did you press the OK/Send/Green phone button after dialling the 00353 number? it sounds like you may have done, with T-Mobile you are able to make a 2nd call whilst on the first and put the first call on hold, it sounds this is what you have done.

You need to dial the 07744974363 number and then when prompted enter the 00353 number, but you must ensure you do not press the OK/Send/ Green phone button, you may have to press the # key.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

I take it there is still no probs with dialling int using the free minutes on the 07744 number then ???
    All advice greatly accepted
    Thanks Jonny C :T

It does sound like that could have created a 2nd call to be made, placing the first call on hold.

If you enter the 07744 number, pause, destination then Send you will be fine. You can save the number in the phonebook like this as well

I don't know how to get the pause character on that phone, but it will probably involve multiple press or hold of the * key.
  • Bex Tech have U used the 07744 number if so how if it means using a nokia handset ;) not a problem as I have a couple lying around ! instructions Pleeeeease on how to diall ( phoning Ireland costing me a fortune )

I've not used the 07744 number, but I have in the past used similar services, but not for a while, from what I remember the Nokia phone allowed you to send the dtmf tones from the phone book without making a 2nd call. Though for most numbers I just used to dial the access code (eg 0744.....) and then once connected to the service manually dial the destination.

You could store the person who wish to call in the phone book as follows, 07744974363p00353.........

You can open the phonebook like Bex Tech says, by putting + on the end of the access number, then Search, but I'd rather save the numbers as above.

If you will also ring some when roaming you can save both versions and switch default

It is also possible to open the phonebook in mid-call by pressing and following the Options menu; this could be useful with a callback service

It's happened to many when first using call-through services on mobiles.
