Went to a different tesco just now (as we needed to pick up a TD order there) and there are no self scan tills  anyhow a nice 'older gentlemen' took 5 of these tokens no problem and I had not bought any cereal at all.

I will have to stop myself buying more of these - it could turn into a cereal addiction :rotfl:

Thanks to the person who said that with a bit of a push you can see the dotted blue line -its does work, I tried it today on some of the January dated boxes in my Tesco I'd dismissed as coupon less, actually had coupons on. :T

That was me, glad to help everyone avoid getting into trouble for ripping the cellophane. However I have a had a shelf-stacker stare at me strangely when holding these pic-a-pac up above my head to push the middle boxes up, it still draws attention a bit but at least you can put them back unblemished if there are no coupons.

BTW if anyone asked I would simply say I was looking for the couponed packs, nothing to be ashamed of!

  • Take the coupons to a Waitrose-they will generally accept a couple of quids worth as longs as you dont hand over more than a third of your shopping bill in vouchers. Mr Ts is too mean with them for more liking-I dont seem to shop there so often lately.
