If you wake up one morning and find a tall skinny teenager camped in your garden it will be my youngest. He loves these and mixes the two in one huge bowl in the morning. Before long his supply will finish and then he will be looking for a new home where there are still these two left!

I dont really approve of these cereals but I cant keep up with the vast ammounts he needs to eat so I have to comprise.

    LOL :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Owing to the fact that the boxes are so small I always mix 'n' match and the above is my favourite combo.

    How sad.

I think you will find that the box sizes are the correct serving size per portion.

We are all just so use to huge portions for everything.

  • The 'unloved' flavours are ideal giveaways when asked for school tombola prizes!
I even had my own game - 'cereal killer' at the school fayre - knock the boxes down - they don't care what they win.
(the boxes they have to knock down have been filled with sand)

But won't the sand spill out from where you've snipped the coupon off?:rotfl:

I bought 2 packs last night, one has a December use by date which I opened, this has 2x25p and 2x 30p in it so a slight profit of 4p :)

The other has a January date but haven't opened that one yet.

I only just saw this today so as I needed to nip to Morrisons I thought I would pick up a few of these - well my packs all expired end Jan08 or Feb08 and in each they had the same 2 x 25p and 1 x 30p (so 80p back against 1.06) not bad seeing as they go down really well in my house, ds loves to pick his own pack and some of them are ideal for my little girls (as picky food to give them as I mooch round mr t's) I also love the honey nut ones and the fitnesse - anyway just to check, it was said that these scan through tescos ss which is great, but has anyone used them through the usual tills? and in any other stores? sorry if I have missed this post already!!

Yes, they scan fine at any tills in Tesco, and Asda, and I'm sure everywhere else as well :)
  • Ive been buying these he last few weeks-only discovered the coupons by accident when I bought 2 multipacks in Iceland for £1 a pack so it really was a nice surprise. Waitrose had some other day but cost about £1.29. Average coupons on boxes seems to be 5 and generally covers cost. Even if it doesnt they work out really cheap. I really should by a load of them but Im just not that greedy!
