Npower Rant! Court Action Threatened When Bill Already Paid 2 Months Ago!!!!!!!!

The exact same thing happened to us - owed and paid on the electric bill and were owed (small amount in our case) on the gas - got as far as the telemessage letter threatening action so I rang (again) and complained loudly - no more letters and gas refund turned up the following week.
This was back in 2010 though - seems nothing much has changed. Hope you get things sorted pronto.0 -
Hate NPower, they mucked up the change over from pre payment to credit and got bills wrong, despite registering for meter reminders by email never have once got one and we often got estimated readings we send them in and then get amended bill and then discovered that despite us giving the readings in the correct order they mixed them up. We are now changing supplier just waiting to see what they f*** up this time.0

Thank you for all your responses. So far I have not heard a thing since I sent a stern email to their complaints department on the 3rd April detailing the electric bill threats & the money they owe me for the gas. Auto response email said they get back to you within 24 hours. Its now well over a week later and NOTHING, I'm still waiting for someone to get back to me!!!!!!!
Still not refunded for the gas either despite being told well over 2 weeks ago that it would be in my bank within 7-10 days. Been waiting around 2 months in total for the refund now, after ringing Npower a few times about it & keep being told it will be in my account in 7-10 days. How is 2 months 7-10 days?????
No other threatening letters as yet fingers crossed.
Adam I will be in touch as soon as I get back home as I'm away at the moment. I can assure you I have paid & have every bit of proof to show that I paid in full on 15/2/13. I will email you the relevant documents etc.
Also I would like the gas refund looking into as I am entitled to this. I have a copy of my final bill which shows I was in credit by £308.71. Will email you with that too. Its even showing on my Npower account online too. According to the website I have 3 accounts showing, gas showing £308.71 in credit at my old address, electricity £0.00 at old address (the one I'm being chased for, £25.24) & a duel fuel account for where I'm living now.
I want to get to the bottom of all this as it is stressing me out.0
