Would you drug a child?

I took my 2 1/2 month old back to England to see my family last year. You could see the look of fear on the Business Class stewards face as we walked up to take our seats in row 1. Luckily for all she never made a noise on both flights across the pond.
He said she was the quietest baby he'd ever flown with. And no, I would never drug my children0 -
Calpol used to have an advertising slogan which went along the lines of " If you're a parent you'll understand. "
Flew with my two rug-rats all over the world and the drinks order was always a double-dose of Calpol for them and G and T's for Mum and Dad.
Never had a problem.
Even used NghtNurse for a couple of long-hauls and they slept all the way.0 -
Mine never responded like that to calpol, some travel sickness things make me sleepy, never my kids though.
If they needed to take something anyway, and that was something that made them sleepy, then great, but wouldn't feel comfortable giving them something they don't need, but I know lots of people who have.0
