Buyer said not as described... help!

My sister brought the jeans round earlier and I measured them and they are a 32” leg. She emailed the buyer and said she was sorry but as they are a 32” she will not be refunding her as they are as described on the listing. The buyer has now replied with this –
"" I have measured these and they are not a 32" as described. These were measured with a tape measure and the measurement was therefore accurate. I am therefore not prepared to receive and pay for these as they are not a 32" length. The description was therefore incorrect, and therefore please refund the £67 as requested. ""
We measured them with a tape measure too and they are definitely a 32” I wonder if it’s a good idea to reply with a pic showing the jeans with a tape measure on but I can’t believe all this hassle from a pair of jeans!! My sister has spent the money and has definitely learnt her lesson! But I’m at a loss what to advise her as I’ve got a af eeling if she sends them back the buyer will keep sending them back and forth

I would do as you say, take a picture with a tape measure actually measuring the jeans and email it. If it's correct, as you say, then it should be all the evidence the buyer needs to shut up (but I have a feeling they won't!).
Not a lot else I can think of as yet.
After you email the pic it's up to the buyer to take the next move, accept the jeans back or open a dispute (and I'm not suggesting you suggest it to them!, just mentioning what they may do).Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T0 -
Make sure you use the word 'therefore' at least twice in every sentence. It makes you sound serious!0
