Mr F went shopping - bust my budget.
He did stock us up with Glucosamin, kitchen rolls and liquorice - what a combination of buys.

Oh bless Flo, it makes perfect sense to me. he bought the liquorice to make you run round and polish your new kitchen with the paper rolls and being a treasure of a man he bought the Glucosamin to ease your joints when you had done it.

Edited to say whoo hoo thats my 2000th post and got a strange grey shaddow star.

So sorry you are having a tough time Hun, wished you lived by me.
I have just been in my local One Stop and they have strawberries and grapes reduced to 50p, I paid 2.00 each in asda on thursday.

I really dont need anymore fruit but bought two each to see if any of my neighbours can use them, if not in the freezer they go. Frozen grapes are lovely but I do think its an absolute Sin to freeze .strawberrys

Thanks Meg :) I need a job asap. Have applied for 17 in the last week, as well as planning to set up my own business...it's just such a hard slog.
Not every week is like this, thankfully.

Dinner tonight was Lemon and Herb Chicken

And i made some HM garlic and coriander nann as well. I was really happy with how the nann turned out..although it was VERY garlicky!

Wow lovely looking dinner and please share your recipe for the nann, never had any success with it, mine looked more like petrified stone.\\What are you setting up your business in? Years ago when I couldnt get a job I started my own craft stall on the market it was quite successful.

Far too much spent this weekend - intention had been a small shop, whoops! £23.75 in MrA - had a look for cheap pasta sauces but none to be found, managed a paella kit for 38p and some good bakery YS goodies though; then another £14.16 in Mr S. Didn't realise hubby needed coffee and I needed razors and shampoo - all the non-food stuff is adding up! Did a bag a bargain on some choccy cheerios for 64p! Cheaper than smartprice choco pops which I had planned to buy. Also went to Mr Ts today and spent £18.59 but used £5 coupons/vouchers, £8 was on M&Ms etc to get the free cinema tickets (entertainment budget) and £11.50 on bedding (house budget) so was actually -91p on food which is quite good. Total of £37 on food for this week so not great but not too bad.

Only £41 for two more weekly shops - that never going to happen so will have a think about re-jigging the budget, we seem to average £40ish a week so 5 week months are always a struggle
