Small spend just now of 84p on YS sliced bread for toast.
DD normally likes beans on toast on Thursday, but her Dad took her out for tea as he was in the UK yesterday for the first time since Nov. So that meal has been postponed until today. I'm not sure we will feel much like eating though later on!

Morning all,
Went to MrM yesterday with the intention of spending £35 for the payday bonus and spent £59 . I even had a list but got tempted by offers.
Went to A1di this morning for fresh stuff and spent another £44.
Have spent a lot but freezer and cupboards are rammed so am still optimistic to stay in target.
Off to take my youngest DD to a taster session at primary school today. My last baby will be at school in Sept. What will I do?!?
K9 - sorry about your dog (hugs)
Meg72 - that was a lovey story about the lady in Asda, it always feels really nice to help someone save money
Coxy - we have an outside chest freezer in our undercover courtyard as we have no room indoors for one. It is fab as I can store soooo much in there. I didn't get one specially for outside but we rarely get frost here (in cornwall, protected by hills) and so has been fine for 5 or so years so far..
Have a lovely, sunny day

If not, I'm out tonight so it'll be Monday. But I will get it doneit was so tasty and satisfying, unheard of for a meal without any carb/starches!! :rotfl:

bartelmy if your trying to save a bit and live on pennies do look at a blog called
A girl called Jack.
Google it and she has some amazing recipes to make food from buttons her and her son survived on a tenner a week and it can be done if your careful and some of the recipes are really nice and very easy to do.and before you ask no its no me:) as she is only 27 and lives in Southend She has done so well with her blog that she managed to land a job and a book deal for her recipes which should come out next springI think it will be a runaway best seller
Thank you! Just googled, and her recipes do look good.:)
Sorry about your dog, K9. My dog, Sadie, was put to sleep when I was thirteen, and I cried for days.:( We'd had her since about three months before I was born.0
