K9 - Big hugs x
Going to have to be extra Frugal this week after being completely done over by wages (payroll staff assure me the c*ck up will be amended in next weeks) but that doesn't help me now!!!! So aiming to spend nothing between today and next thursday.
Got plenty in the cupboards and freezer but really its not the point, heyho, no point dwelling on it, it's not going to put the money in my account any quicker :-(Christmas budget £266.38/£535 15/27gifts
Read a book a week challenge 50/520 -
Nipped into Icleand while in town for £1 big bottle of milk (as it's £1.30 ish in Mr S and the Co-op -- shops by me -- ) and fell into trap of buying 2 big boxes of cereal from right by the door, as the milk was all the way at the end of the store of course. £2 each for big boxes of Crunchy Nut and Coco Pops, definitely cheaper than Sainsbury where I usually shop but a bit annoyed at myself for buying them when I didn't need them for a while.
As of today I have £35 worth of Nectar points as a load have just been added to my account through bonus points for having Nectar credit card, really hoping I can use these to claw back to being back where I'd like to be as per my budget by next week.
I was totting up what I had done outside work to boost my income this month as it has been a fair bit and have just joined the 'Make £10 a day' thread in DFW.
So now I am blathering on in there far too much as well.
Have a lovely weekend everyone, I'm doing a first car boot, bit scared! xx0 -

Thought that mixed peppers were part of the Aldi S6, but they arent. But managed to pick up these from Tesco, and they taste lovely!
We are off out for dinner tonight. We are going to the beach, and then will have Fish & Chips! It's my mums treat0 -
Hi everyone,
£70.07 in Ts today but only £49.31 from GC, other bits from 2nd purse.
DH and I are out for dinner tonight for our anniversary - different budget. Children are having M&S ys pizza and salad.
Meals for the weekend/next week are:
Family sized lasagne, coleslaw and salad (meal deal easy peasy)
Pork loin steaks with gnocchi
Chicken and chorizo pasta
Scampi and hm chips
Breaded turkey breasts (ys), mash and veg
Pastry bake - topped with tomato, cheese, ham, chorizo
Beef and ale casserole (magg! mix), mash and veg
Realised halfway round Ts that DD is away with the school next week, so will freeze some of the pork loins for another time. Pleased with the total as I also used some coupons from Ts magazine plus got a £5 off wys £40 voucher for next Friday
Will only need veg and salad top ups early next week to see us through to Friday.
Have a good afternoon all

Is anyone here a single parent with one child? I am going to be a student in September, my daughter is only 3 but want to stick to a food budget...was wondering if 40 pound a week on food is still a lot for just two of us and if people do it for less?8k in 2015 Challenge ( #167)0

Hi guys, did shopping today at Mr T, Mr L and Mr M spend a little more than I had wanted but the freezer is full so should all sort itself out by the end of the month. I brought a massive bit of cheese that Mr T's deli were selling at £5 per kilo thought that was good, I have read on here that you can freeze it, so I won't need cheese for awhile.
I will update my signature.
