As long as you know what your current password is (this is a must) you could untick the remember box. You'd have to fill the password every time you connected - but no one else could do it.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. unless it's Btbroadband...then there is NO password....
you could remove the connection button from every user apart from the Admin user (yours, and password protect the Admin User logon) and then you would need to connect the internet for them each time (it says connected when you log-off your user-id and switch to theirs)Ex forum ambassador

Which OS are you using? Surely, you prevent access to everything under your profile by logging on under your username, when you start up?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0

The only circumstance I know of where a single username and password allow access to both your broadband connection and e-mail account is with AOL, and their software doesn't allow you create an account without a password anyway!0 -
if it's just email you're bothered about then password protect your accounts.. in Outlook you can password protect your .pst file so it can't be opened and in Express you can protect your OE identity0

Thanks all. I have now created a separate account with limited use for my 'other user' from the start menu and as I am administrator/owner I need a password to log on and also access the internet. Hopefully this will afford me the peace of mind I need.0
