Hi Sea
Just read the news - congrats! The situation may not be ideal, but I'm glad ur pleased, and I'm sure OH will be when he sobers up! Don't worry about the DMP, I'm sure loads of people have got pregnant during one, u can't be the only person! I'm sure they'll change accordingly when the time comes... Good news on the full time mat pay too!
Congrats again! - I love babies

Lol sea, ignore the occasional silly comments you get on here sometimes - I had one a few days before I gave birth (and on a day I was inhospital with high blood pressure) which seemed to be implying I should abort it....
You're not being selfish at all, it's not as if your other children are going to starve or be out on the streets - a new baby will bring much more to their lives than it will take away. So if you're happy, you go for it."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Good Morning! I hope you managed to sleep well and that your talk with OH this morning goes well. Will be thinking of you.
Also, make sure you get that form finished today xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning.
Congrats on your news and i really hope your chat with OH goes OK. I do not wish to offend you but it may have come as a bit of a shock to him as well. I am speaking purely from a male point of view and i know of the problems you have had and i truly wish you all the best.

I am so pleased for you. I am sure all will go well, and it may be just what was needed to get things on track.
Now, get that form done, and you will have had a most productive weekendSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I'm so glad it went well for you, maybe this will be the turning point for ur relationship!
As for the baby stuf.... the obvious thing is to breast feed if u can (I know that's a little way off yet!), and get what u can from freecycle/charity shops. MIL buys almost all the stuff for DS from charity shops - she's saved us a fortune! Also, try to start buying little bits now, like throw the odd packet of nappies/wipes into ur weekly shop when they're on offer....
Anyways, you've got enough to think about atm with ur form, so I'll shush for now...

I keep reading this thread and I'd like to offer my congratulations on your pregnancy, if any of us waited for the *right* time we'd never have children!
I agree with taxi that DMPs have to be amended as circumstances change so I really wouldn't worry about finances.
Wishing you all the luck in the world.
