hi all

Well, am now feeling not so bad about the shopping this weekend as I have got really good stuff and have decided what is done is done so am not going to worry about it.

Looking forward to using all my bargains :)

I was reading Karmacat's diary before and she was saying she's going to give up the surveys as it's just all too time consuming - now, for me, it's not the surveys that are the problems- it's the pile of stuff to ebay - it's making me feel guilty just looking at it. However, I just don't seem to get the time to list, and more crucially, get it posted in a timely fashion or monitor it so that I dont' end up spending too much on postage etrc as it's all not very high value stuff now. So I@ve decided that instead I'm going to sort through what I can give to friends etc who need those items, as people have done that for me and I am very grateful and also give the rest to charity. Hopefully then I will be cluter free and also not want to fill the house with more clutter again. (theory anyway!). It has been working with the kids toys as they are so much happier with fewer toys as they can actually see what they have!

Also come to the conclusion that I just can't make it down to see my friend and her new baby in London over half term - gutted, but just don't have the money. I will look into the possibility of getting a lift down with OH's brother and lift back if he's coming up and down to see mil - could well be possible.

Good news regarding M-i-l. She's back at home now :D So she needs an awful lot of care still, but is relieved to be back home which is great.

I hope all are well. I need to get back into the DFW mindset this week, but now I have my special glue, I can spend my spare (hah!!) time doing some scrabooking :)

welcome back home Sea, know what you mean about ebaying, at the moment i'm sticking to dvd's, don't seem to sell all of them, but have 40 listed from last night and need to sell half of them (fingers crossed anyway). I've loads of other stuff to ebay but i have to take photo's of it and everything which sort of puts me off.
And i'm determined to list some of my rubber stamps, i alway seem to use the same ones so there's loads i've never even used, which is just terrible!

Sounds like you have had a busy weekend. I know what you mean about ebay...ive been listing stuff tonight and Im sure that once ive paid fee's on it that some of it won't be worth selling. Have you thought about doing a car boot with all your stuff and then if it doesn't sell take it to the charity shop?
Hope you and the Children are all ok

Hi all

sallyx- I could well do a car boot, but think that a lot of the stuff I have is more wintry than the beginning of spring like weather and I'm not sure if I have enough for a car boot..but will think about it:)

Busy today - school seems to be never ending bloody admin at the moment. Grrr. Ah well, half term next week :D

Sad news - b-i-l and his gf are splitting up (after 8 years and 2 kids together). I'm friends with her now and will try and support them both obviously but it's just so sad. Ah well. Hopefully they'll both be happier apart.

Have done loads of surveys today! :) Hope to reach pay out from a few sites soon. Still not sure where the £50 came from - ICM media, so is a survey site, but not sure which one. not complaining as will cover silly spending :)

Hope all are really well and happy.

Hi Sea, glad MiL is home again.

Half term here is this week - can you not temporarily move here and then you get a few days off?
