Ok, just found out some awful news. One of my former tutor group members was stabbed and killed in Erith at the beginning of Jan. I have just found out that another one of my old tutor group has died as his leukemia came back. They were both only 18.

It's just horrible. The poor families.

Thanks all - I've made my current tutor group promise that they will all live to over 100, never get involved in drugs/gangs etc and to remain healthy their whole lives lol!! :)

Had a shocking day at work - disaffected year 11 boys and islam aren't mixing so well at the moment.

My mum is on her way to get William. Sophia went to school and is now having almighty tantrum upstairs. Will seems much better but I think ti'll be good for him to have a few lazy days with Grandma.

Trying not to feel too down about everything - thank goodness my kids are healthy (on the whole!!) and I am blessed to have a good life. Poor mil is still down. I don't know what to do to help.

Hope all are ok. Let myself down today on the DFW front by spending £2 on lunch -grrrr
