Right, rung and sorted that, just a little annoying now! Will have had 4 days in last 2 1/2 weeks off with the kids and 1 off for INSET. At least they will still pay me (I hope).

It can't be helped that you have to have time off and I'm sure this happens loads of times over the year for them (other teachers and staff having to be off)...hope he gets well soon

Yes, but whether they pay for it is at their discretion and I don't trust this lot very much. Can't obviously say too much about them but I have never experienced a place/management like it. It's extraordinary. Wouldn't have worried at my last place - they would have had no problem and been really nice about it. I also had a load more loyalty to my last school. Funny that, eh?

vet said best not to operate if not causing any bother as charlie has a heart murmur and surgery was worse.

sorry to hijack your thread as well as the last one.
when ds had chicpox,i used lavender and chamomile essential oils in a lotion and in the bath, and he wasnt bad with the scratching.got calamine cream instead of the lotion, not as drying.
lovely to catch you again.thats the trouble with the site now, its so big that if you lose a thread, and you are so comp savvy like what i am,(not!!)it takes ages to get back.

Hi hon - sorry to hear about the growth - hopefully it won't cause him any discomfort. Good about no more fleas :)

I got some calamine cream - will slather DS with it in a mo when he goes down. It's jsut the ones in his hair (and all over his balls - just waiting for them to go elsewhere and cause real problems!!!!) that are the problem.

I have got some piritin but he won't take it so I think I'll go tomorrow and get him something. Sophia was a much better patient!! However, she is now ill again - raging temp and has slept pretty much from getting home - her teacher said she's been unwell all day. I didn't believe her this morning when she said she didn't feel well!!

So she's had calpol, William has had screaming fit (with proper tears) as I had to put the cream on him and he can not stand being messy or dirty - freaks out if he gets a bit of food on his fingers so ou can imagine the freak out with cream all over his body that he can still see!!!! Arghhhh.

Both in bed, but not holding my breath that things will stay quiet...ah well :D
