King Charles are lovely dogs. We have family friends who had one and she was really gentle and friendly. Just the sort of dog you want really.

What a positive day, really! The only thing that worries me is that you say that chocolate is not providing you with any goodness.....HOW CAN THAT BE:confused: :rotfl:

Christmas is presumably a good time to be looking for a dog - the rescue homes are likely to be full of lovely pets wanting a fab home like yours.

  • Great idea with the dog - no not very DFW but having a pet makes a huge psychological difference - couldnt be without my puss cats!
Am SOOOO with you with the dieting as weight is going on! How about a Jan pact! I've had liver funct tests as enzymes higher than they would like (I said due to my excessive wine consumption!!) but they also think his could be due to chinese herbs that I took regularly ...just mention it in case its relevant! Am not not drinking over Christmas as no need not to but def want to get on track generally in Jan as I feel things are slipping. I do also think that alch makes you depressed and feel so much better since cutting down on what drink (ie not in the week) so hopefully with the combination of more tablets and less alch you'll feel better? Great that its not bipolar - for you more than anything as I know that worried you! Do keep us update about the dog but do your research on the "variety" that you get as it does make a difference. My cousin has 2 lovely jack russells - mad but loving!! Labs are loopy, springers hyperactive ....

    Lovely aren't they! :)

I really do seriously want a Labradoodle - I think they're amazing, and usually pretty hypo-allergenic, which is great for me because I have asthma. They sell for about £750+ though, and need quite a bit of space, so I will have to wait until I have more money and a bigger house!

Yep as a former owner of a springer spaniel, it's best to have loads of space! Charlie was really hyper!

    Hi all

feeling good today as I managed to get to the drs before 9 to get my bloods taken - seems I'm being checked for everything under the sun!! Good job I didn't have breakfast before I went as well. Will have to ring for the results in a week as I can't get an app at all. Will try to book one next thursday.
Also got my new prescription and nearly fell over in the chemist when it came to over £20!!! I asked if the extra things on it (I didn't know she was going to put them on - strong combinations of vitmain B and thiamine(?)) could be bought for cheaper, but apparently not as they are a special type - grrr. So am about to buy a pre-prescription cert and get the money from this morning back.

Didn't write my meal plan last night so intend to do that today. DD wants to bake cookies for the neighbours so we'll do that too at some point.

Hope all are well today :)
