Yes - some pink is def needed! Was going to be all MSE, but quite frankly do not have the time!! Have wrapped quite a few presents, bundled the ones up that I need to send tomorrow and the cards I forgot about too - grr! OH is def a little tipsey as he's been gushing about how fab the house looks and how much I've done blah blah blah! :D

Will go get some more wrapping done, but have to wait for the cellophane from ebay to do the hampers. Now, a few of the recipients are really quite young - 3,4,5 and do you think I should individually wrap the presents inside to make it more exciting?

I think the individually wrapped bits are a nice idea, but more time consuming when you have enough to do as it is!!

If you have the time to do it, I would definitely wrap them separately - the more presents to unwrap on Xmas morning the better! You could always wrap them in tissue paper, that's not quite as time consuming I find.

Although i don't buy proper '£2 for 4 sheets' tissue paper, I go to the kids stationery section of Sainsburys and buy the large packs of 'art and craft tissue paper' - loads of different coloured sheets and really cheap!

Ooooh, I do believe that was a proper money saving tip.....think I need a little lie down now! :D

HI - just been able to sit down for more than a few quick mins to have a look at the boards. Have cleaned and tidied the kitchen, dining room and sitting room. Christmas tree is up and mostly decorated. A few balloons are up and the table is laid with the masquerade masks stuff (wrapped doweling lengths with ribbon and have cut out mask shapes from a pampers box and covered in white paper - put feathers and glittery shapes in little bowls and stickers on the table) ready to go as soon as we get in and the girls have got changed into their dresses :) Then we're having mini pizzas and cupcakes (and a few mini cheddars if need be :) ) and 2 pass the parcels are wrapped and ready to go. The Ipod is primed with The Wiggles music for musical statues and that's it I think - should be more than enough for 2 hours. If not, we'll play more music games :D Bought a caterpillar cake when out so that's done too.

Also sent the last of my cards off and parcels too. Thankfully I only had 2 to send and although they were awkward sizes, they didn't cost too much!

Feeling a little nervous but I'm sure it'll be fine. The kids can't have breakfast at the dining table tom morning as it's all laid out!! I forgot to get princess plates, so will just use paper ones but that's fine - the girls won't care!

Snaggles - I'll look out craft tissue paper then :)

:D Have got the bottle of wine ready in the fridge actually for tomorrow night as soon as the last princess leaves the house!! lol!! Will take photos and post them up (only of my princess and the general party though as otherwise it might be a bit odd - not sure if I'd like others taking photos at parties and posting them on here lol!!)

Hi all - wow I'm shattered!! I think the girls had a good time - although some are well fussy, didn't like pizza, garlic bread, chocolate, smarties, the list goes on! However, they were all adorable and were fabby. Sophia was a little annoying - but then party girls are allowed to be I guess! They loved doing the masks and took them home with joy- the party games and prizes went down well and they enjoyed the dancing too. They all remembered their princess dresses and I think I managed to entertain for 2 hours (on my own - arghh) ok :D The parents who picked them up said I was very brave and very calm considering!

Am now on the wine :)
