Recruiting is probably not the only thing those poor people do. It isn't fair for you to expect an instant response, and given that it's a uni you ain't gonna get one.

Knowing within a week would be good going.

It isn't your place to say they should do it faster.

I'm actually not allowed to inform of the outcome of an interview for at least 2 working days. There are policies they will be following. Let them do their jobs!!!!!

Whilst it's great to be keen, it's of no advantage to you to be so over-keen that you allow yourself to be exploited. If you work, you should get paid for it.

I am listening and I am not going to do unpaid hours but I am willing to do almost anything to get it.

I am not going to do unpaid hours. I am just really keen to impress and to get this job.

To be fair I assist people fairly often on OS with cooking issues as I am a fairly keen cook at home.

I hoped they might have been in touch as I was hoping to start today. I just can not see what takes them so long. They take refrences up before interview according to the application form.

You have another exam this week don't you? Would it be a final exam for a degree by any chance or isn't it important for your future? You say you were hoping to start today, I really don't know who would want to start work a few days before a final exam!

Well I don't know how you come over in interview but I can tell you how you come over on this forum - irritating is one word for it! You do not come over as keen just a pain in ... !!

Yes, I have one more exam and my room is completely full of mindmaps and charts to help me remember it all.

I keep going on about this job because I need it so much and I keep getting worried that I won't get it.
