The mythical Nationwide card reader arrived on Thursday, some of my regular SOs are moved across and an SO is now in place to feed the account on payday.
So question is now and this is probably one for YorkshireBoy (who should be renamed Cravendale IMO for his aptitude in 'milking' financial institutions) is when do they credit the interest?Interests: PCs. servers, networks, mobiles and music (esp. trance)0 -

On the last day of each month we calculate the interest you've earned each day of that month and then pay you this interest on the 1st day of the next month. We normally pay you this interest 'net' of any tax, which means we deduct any tax due and pass it to the government for you.

I applied last weekend online to upgrade my flexaccount to a flexdirect account. The confirmation screen stated that my account would be upgraded on 27th April 2013 as they do upgrades at weekends and I should be able to access my account the 30th. Can anyone "in the know" explain why they do it this way, especially when you are already a Nationwide customer."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
