Private villa hire - not getting everything promised

    I would imagine the amount of compensation you would be offered would be quite small as the main part of your booking was provided (the villa) the fact that the hot tub was repaired 5 days into your holiday could be something that was outside the control of the owners. Your first step should be to contact the owner to discuss it, did you make a complaint whilst you were there ? I would also be putting it down to experience.

    Speak to the owner - as a goodwill gesture you may geta discount off a future stay. However, they resolved the problem.

    What did their booking terms say about mechanical breakdowns?
