Least time-spent vs cheapest ways to get money into ISA?

I'm busy on weekdays at the moment. I've also left it fashionably late to pay money into the new cash ISA I just opened. A cheque is going to be too slow to meet the deadline by now, presumably. What's the best method to transfer the money with minimum time spent on that, at reasonable expense (reasonable meaning say less than 30 quid or so)? For me, time spent in the evening is OK, time in the day not.
How about the cheapest way (ignoring the time)?

Do you have the new ISA account number? If so, electronic FP would be the quickest and cheapest.
If not, can you phone your ISA provider and pay in by debit card?0
