Either washing-up liquid for a massively heavy buildup or Vosene - but be warned, both will strip colour!

Yep, I use the green fairy (other WUL make my hair really knotty)
That clarifies well without drying my hair out.
But it does strip colour.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
I used my new Elvive mousse-type shampoo this morning, and things are back to normal, thank goodness."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Glad to hear things are back to normal - I was just going to ask if it was the hairbrush needing a wash as that's happened to me once or twice.

Fairy Liquid is fantastic. Always wash out the hair dye with it as, yes, it does strip colour but as I dye my greys with the darkest brown I can find, the FL doesn't affect it, only removes the excess dye.
Also clean my bathroom with FL and use it on stains on clothes/linen.
So I heartily recommend using FL to remove build up - much more MSE than specialist clarifying shampoos.i before e, except when you run a feisty heist on a weird beige foreign neighbour0
