I have just ordered from them
I have bought phones from similar places in past - coolnewmobile and phoneboxdirect and got the cashback cheques fine
Having problems with directphoneshop with my address. my debit card HAD a different address so changed that with bank last week. called directphone up today to chase up order and they said address was different etc. Checked with bank and of course was fine. Told them this and they said fine and would forward order to revelent department. Told them to call me if problem.
Had a call on mobile before and they asked if I 'name' - I said Yes and then they hung up - lost connection.....??
Fingers crossed .....0 -
It always sets alarm bells ringing when I read the terms and conditions and find that they are in incorrect english. It makes me wonder whether they are enforceable either way. And from the excerpt below ; how can you have the proof of delivery? It is the proof of posting that you retain! Unless you can obtain proof of delivery from Post Office website? But why need to do this? You have to do a lot to get your cheques. What if they don't send the bills out on the billing date? You may only have a few days to get your claim in. Better make sure that you know when you are going on holiday! It is cheap but maybe it is so difficult to comply with the terms that it is not cheap in the long run. Would like others' views as if it is bona fide then I would be interested.
14.7 All the cash back claims must reach us with in 15 days from the bill date mentioned on the relevant bill for the relevant cash back claim (refer to the tables below) through special delivery. You must ensure that you have the POD (Proof of Delivery) of all claims sent to us. We will not be liable for any claims lost or misplaced.0
