After that the GP just said "Well you should know ..."Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
With the first pregnancy I had to symptoms at the start at all but that may be because I hadn't had it before. With the second I felt mildly sick at the start and a bit tearful.
I had these symptoms again last week too as I had a miscarriage a few days ago. I didn't know I was pregnant at the time but looking back i had all the usual symptoms.
Edit: Forgot to say they sell a pack of 3 pregnancy tests in Poundland which are meant to be really accurate and if you do all 3 your sure to get a good idea of whether or not you are.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -

i didn't buy pregnancy tests, i got them done via the GP for free as when i was pregnant 14 years ago, home tests were too expensive for me.
but with the first one, i suspected pregnancy 5 days after a missed period (was usually regular as clockwork) and i'd also gone off tea (and i am a complete tea freak!).
with the second child, i went off tea again, craved baked potatoes and was ridiculously tired. my normal 20 minute walk from town started to make me feel utterly exhausted, so that's when i suspected something was up!0 -
Don't family planning clinics offer them for free?0

Do women get sore boobs straight away?? Or is it after a few months of falling pregnant?0
-
mine started being sore about a week ago, I'm now 8 weeks pregnant

I've always had positives (when pregnant!) from own brand test (Asda and Tesco). I did have negatives from cheapy eBay tests, but wasn't pregnant when I took them!
Whatever brand you use always use first wee of the day though. Whatever they say about being accurate at any time of day, the best chance of picking up a positive result (assuming you are pg!) is first thing as the hormone is most concentrated then. If you get a -ve result in the afternoon you'll only end up repeating in the morning anyway!
hope you get the result you want
