In Scotland, is water rates still part of the Council tax bill?

Hi,In Scotland, is water rates still part of the Council tax bill?
eh, yes, and no.
The water and waste water charges are based on the Council Tax Band for each house.
The Council Tax Bill includes charges for Water and Sewerage services from Scottish Water, which the Council collects on behalf of Scottish Water.
There was no increase in Council Tax for 2013/14, but there was a 2.8% increase by Scottish Water.0 -
