Well FG.....apparently I'm told that the person switched on a laptop not used since before the SB refurb (remember the c0cked up party night ?) and when he tried to log in SBs he got that message popped up.
So it is a bit scary to me that NEVER EVER EVER have I seen that declaration of just how intrusive SBs is ...not on my computer or my SB account.
At least the Neilson offer was upfront about that kind of intrusion & we got paid for it legitimately. SBs gets all our info for free. $h1ts.:(

I did think there was something a little dodgy about the toolbar but figured they could't be taking my info without my permission. Think I might uninstall- it's just not worth it for one SB per day! thanks for the heads up.

In other news, I tried the Audible offer again with different login details and it credited almost straight away :j

Well I doubt anyone on here has bothered to read that (but feel free to contradict me.) or even would know where to access it,so I find that incredibly dishonest of them.:(

I've done that with about three offers over the year I've been on. Doesn't always work, but can do sometimes & worth a try.
Just use a different email addy as well & that helps. But good for you.

I uninstalled the toolbar after my laptop got a virus. I didn't know if it was caused by the toolbar but I got rid of it anyway. Luckily the computer guy in work fixed the laptop for nothing when he was doing a job for work but I would have been annoyed if it had cost me money. (probably more than I make in swagbucks!)

I installed the toolbar on Chrome and it made the browser useless - it took so long to load a page. I wonder now if it's because the toolbar collects so much data - I really don't know. I have it installed on FireFox and there's no slowdown at all, so it must be something to do with the toolbar and chrome
