Think Philpott got life but must serve a minimum of 15 years. His wife and friend got 17 years and told they will serve half. That's how I understand it anyway. Agree they should throw away the key. Even the original plan to frame the other woman was evil never mind what really happened.

True sheils, very true. 6 children should equal six life sentences!

It's really freaky isn't indie, we should be gardening and getting summer clothes out now not clearing up snow and wrapping up in woollies!

I swear my mum is losing the plot....my sis just told me what she said at funeral yesterday to the deceased wife....."I've had a lovely day" I don't think she would have meant to say that but I just hope she was forgiven! :o

My son says things like that. At christmas time we passed a bloke sleeping rough. I won't give money but went and got him a hot pastie and coffee. My son gave it to him and said Merry Christmas...Oops! I had to explain thats not the thing to say..lol

Big excitement...DD and GD not doing the gymnastics display for Wills & Kate, were outside Sports Centre and DD says Kate shook GD's hand and Wills spoke to her too while the Mums were videoing on their cameras :D

Other GD performing now so looking forward to maybe seeing them both on the news!!!!!!!!!!

Lol indie! :D I bet it felt like Xmas to the man if he was homeless and in need.
Just last week there was a young woman crying in the street and begging for money for food but she was targeting the elderly who would feel sorry for her and give her. What they didn't know was nearby watching was her 'accomplice'...possibly to feed their habit and rob the elderly. My brother saw what was happening and told the police. She certainly put on a good performance fooling everyone! :(

    Afternoon all!

I've had a busy morning and just caught up on the main board! Lots of great comps posted today- or is it just me? Still got the dailies to do yet!

No WEMs, parcels or phone calls but I do have a couple of weeks work on a one off channel four documentary coming up. Nowt fancy, just a bit of research starting from Monday. Couldn't come at a better time financially :)

I meant to say ellemm...I was watching news earlier and saw Kate at the sports centre in Glasgow, there was kids there doing dancing or something....was your GD in the group of children?
Good luck to the kids on their next performance, hope you get to see them :)

Good luck with your next research project EmmaP :)
I haven't looked at the comps as much but saw lots of debates going on! :o
