You make me feel really lazy Alfie.

Will leave the TAB comp until tomorrow thanks FF.

There is another short sale on at Premier Inn if anyone is looking for a short break. We couldn't resist and booked another £25 stay at Whitehaven in June.:o :D

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone :) really appreciated.

Had a pleasant day here with a drive into the Old Town of Rethymnon (we are 2km outside in what was a village but is now more of a suburb of the town but still has a village feel iyswim) with a nice Frappe in a harbour cafe, bit of people watching and a wander round the shops and restaurants renewing acquaintences with people we have met in the years we have been coming here.

Then out for a meal at a fav local restaurant, where again, we are well known and the welcome is very genuine which is what I love about this place.

Managed a few comps too ;) OH watching footie (with Greek commentary) and I am on here and chatting to DD on FB :D Life is good.

Sheils - thanks and might have a glance at Premier Inn.

Firefly - thanks for the heads up on TAB and not a problem waiting as I do them all together on a Wednesday usually.

I'm watching an American show called Extreme Couponing and its inspiring me to get on the freebies/grabbit while it lasts threads :o

Hundreds of dollars of shopping reduced to just $6 in some cases! Incredible.

OMG! I love that show! It's A-MAZ-ING!! I am fascinated by it, and wish it was like that here. I would have no shame. None, I tell you! :rotfl:

Good news about the MOT Indie :)

    Debt-free and Proud!
I've just discovered it euro! The only thing I find annoying is that these people hoard/stockpile. Especially when you look at the perishable goods......they must go off, surely?

And some of them are morbidly obese....honestly.....they don't need more food! I just think there's a lot of greed going on with these people. By all means, coupon but give a little back to those less fortunate!

    Extreme Couponing rant over!

Agreed! The best ones are those who do it solely to be able to give it to charities and foodbanks. Those are really nice to watch. But I agree, there are hoarders and the morbidly obese who are just greedy!
