No cover for first 14 days???

This can be effective in some cases but what is there to stop people waiting out the 14 days and making a claim? There must be many illnesses where the pet survives or is comfortable enough to last that long before seeking treatment.
Ultimately, you're never going to prevent fraud 100% of the time - however, it's enough to deter anyone casually trying to commit fraud (it would be a particularly callous pet owner to wait 2 weeks whilst their pet was suffering before going to the vet).0 -

The vet would likely know how long the animal had the condition for, though.0 -
Helps to stop people standing outside the vets taking insurance out, Then going back in and saying yes do the treatment then filing a claim.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
