Sold Airline Advice Please

Options
I wondered if somebody may know who should be responsible for my flight delay.

In February 2008 I flew GB Airways to Tenerife. The return flight was their final flight before they became part of Easy Jet.

Who would be responsible? BA or Easyjet? BA have referred me to Easyjet, but i am not convinced this is correct.

Does anybody have any advice on this please?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

GB Airways was bought by easyJet.

easyJet may argue that GB Airways operated a BA flight in a similar way as a Wet Lease operator and thus aren't liable and refer you back to BA.

GB Airways did operate some flights with their GT code and easyJet would be responsible for these.

GB was never owned by BA either, they were just a franchise and owned by a Gibraltar based company
