Hi

EDIT: I have now taken a contract with Orange so no further replies needed.

Thank you for helpful replies

I have been given a hand-me-down iPhone4.
At present I have an old mobile phone on Orange PAYG and I make only a few calls and texts per month. An average month would be £3/4 in calls and texts as we have free land-line calls at home. On a contract I would use the mobile phone more but not a lot so I don't need heaps of minutes but I would make some use of the phone's internet/mail facility.
We have an ipad and an itouch already.
I get good coverage from Orange meantime but which deals can anyone recommend to suit my needs please?
I would prefer to retain my number but this is not essential

Thank you

Your needs have to be in term of minutes+texts, not ££.

6 months of internet cost just £20. And if you spend £3/4 on calls it's exactly what you "need". The only question is how many minutes/texts you will get for this.

Yes, it is locked to Orange.

While waiting for replies I decided to phone Orange to enquire about their prices, and for my light use they have offered me 250mb, 150mins and 500 texts per month for only £7 per month
I have been happy with Orange/EE and coverage in my area is fine so I was delighted to take the contract.

Thank you to all for replies.

    I am sorted.
