Oooh what did you get? I've not tried much L'Occitane stuff, always saw it as a posh brand that my mum bought stuff from to give as nice presents.
Tonight I had a hand scrub and moisturising massage and a little too much champagne.
I bought L'Occitane Cherry Blossom hand cream 30ml at 10% off, so £7.20 and got a goodie bag that contained a Spring Cherry clip top purse/makeup bag and:
L'Occitane Cherry Blossom hand cream 10ml
L'Occitane Spring Cherry iridescent shower gel 75ml
L'Occitane Spring Cherry velvet moisturising gel 75ml
L'Occitane Divine Eyes treatment 1ml
L'Occitane divine cream 1ml
L'Occitane 25% Shea butter ultra rich body cream 6ml sachet.
The divie cream sachet alone is worth something like £1.50, so I got a good £20+ of free products.
I also popped in to Boots this morning and in an effort to try and use up some of these lipsticks I have, I bought a bottle of Lipcote, paid for on AC points.
My INs rate is not going to go down if I keep trying to get freebies like this!0 -
Small UU
5ml Alpha H microcleanse - I really like this - I may have another sample in the stash if not though I will use this as an opportunity to UU some other microdermabrasion style products in my stash before deciding which is my favourite.
Ins from Luxbox.No more buying toiletries0 -
Catriona_P wrote: »A couple of UUs already this month:
- sachet of L'Occitane's Fleurs Merveilleuses perfume - nice and fragrant but a bit too 'old ladyish' for me.
- Body Shop Tea Tree facial moisture gel - I've had this since FOREVER (I'm talking 10-12 years plus), have been using it a lot lately but don't think it works anymore, plus the gel had gone a funny snot green colour.I picked up a tip on Superscrimpers that you can make your hallway smell nice by rubbing tea tree on the radiator, so I did that with the remainder of the bottle this morning. We'll see what it smells like tonight! No biggie anyway as I have plenty of other tea tree products in the stash.
A good friend of mine is going travelling in a few months, so I'm putting together a box of mini travel sized products (from my stash) that she can take with her. Hopefully they'll be useful
Hope you feel better soon mcculloch!
In other news, got the result of my big January exam this morning - I passed this time! :j So relieved after the mess I made of it last time round. Now on to the next exam in July...
Fantastic news well done.:T:T:TThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
A UU for me Nivea essential care lip balm, onto honey and milk now, its a bit creamy for my liking.Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Hope you're feeling better McCullough!
I'm back in for another month! I'm trying my best to use up products, but I've started a job where nail varnish and 'obvious' make up isn't very appropriate, so I think everything may take a bit longer to get through! Went to the pictures with BF today though, so had some full base, blush and eyeshadow on. Used my Naked 2 pallete (Verve, Suspect and Half baked) and remembered how much I love putting make up on! Have been trying to go though my lip glosses - I have a ridiculous amount, and I don't know why as I don't wear them! Used Clinique's glosswear, which looked pretty, but when I kissed my BF he complained about it being sticky haha! Can't win can I?!
Counted up how much I spent last month, and it was £41. This was much better than the month before, but still far too high! Also had 51 outs, but 26 ins, but I suppose I was in minus numbers, which is something!
Had 3 UUs so far - 2 Nice and Easy hair dye's in light auburn (I need 2 as I have v long hair!). My HG hair dye and WDBA.
And a Doublewear sample in Shell. My HG colour, but has been discontinued, and I'm rather gutted!
Hope everyone is doing ok!

I hit my shoulder on the edge of the door but at a damage limiting angle - an inch to the right and I would have got my collarbone.
My knee is slightly sore also, everything else is OK. I take quite strong painkillers for the arthritis, so I feel alright, really.
As I said, I was lucky. Phew.
Glad to hear you're ok, it sounds like a nasty fallCatriona_P wrote: »In other news, got the result of my big January exam this morning - I passed this time! :j So relieved after the mess I made of it last time round. Now on to the next exam in July...
Congratulations!! A lot of my colleagues have had their ILEX exam results come through, there's been a lot of nail biting. How much more do you have left to do after July?
Also- I'm completely nicking that tea tree on the radiator thing :rotfl:Hi everyone,
Make up wise today...
Eyeshadow = Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and on Bronze(All over the lid), UD's Echo Beach(over the color tattoo), UD's Desperation(outer corner and crease), UD's Anonymous(to blend out Desperation and up to the brow bone).
Lip Product - L'Oreal Caresse in Sweet Berry
My makeup today was normal base (Smashbox Photofinish primer, Maybelline fit me sample, no7 concealer) Natural Collection cream blush in rosey pink. Ey emakeup was No7 lasting finish innocent under brow bone, No7 lasting finish wheatsheaf across lid, BS mid brown tone in crease and corner. Bobbi Brown longwear gel eyeliner in sepia ink, slightly thicker line that yesterday. Finished with Lily Lolo in angelic (white with dense shimmer) on an eye definer brush right underneath brow to emphasise highlighter, on inner corner of eyes blended up (I get shadows there) then a small dot of white on the middle of my eyelid and blended out above the sepia ink eyeliner to lighten, soften and highlight my upper lashes. Followed up with usual mascara.0 -

Hope your on the mend mccoulloch ...did i spell that right.:o im using my phone so cant type n check at the same time
Well done catriona :T
So i have two uu's
Listerine mouthwash. Wba, have another in the stash. Its not one im keen on but it's the other halfs hg...so i water it down and he doesnt seem to notice:rotfl:
Babywipes from primark. Pack of two so still have another. Im not fussed what baby wipes i use to be honest. I just find them the easiest way to get make up off my hands and wipe my feet etc
I have no ins and i hope not too many at all this month. I plan on buying hair dye, toothpaste and maybe radox bubble bath depending how quickly the other one gets used up.
Now then on the topic of s&g. I was given a lovely big giftset for xmas and have been keeping it to regift because i wont be using the showergel and probably wont getround to using the body butter. BUT i really really REALLY want to try the body scrub. Do you think i will get away with just repacking themin a nice bag along with the sponge thingy and the hair wrap?
I know many of adore the stuff but its too bulky to post and at the moment im just wanting to clear some space...im thinking a new pair of shoes would look nice in the corner where the box of toiletries are :rotfl:May Grocery Challenge : 64.81 so far
