When I turned the tv on last night to watch The Hoarder Next Door I caught the end of Superscrimpers and they were showing a clip of next week with a lady who can't stop buying makeup, I have to watch that and see what ideas they come up with for her.

I was just catching up on some earlier episodes, and saw some tips for home made beauty treatments in one episode (episode 6). The had a home made body scrub (sugar, olive oil and jasmine), homemade body spray (rubbing alcohol, water and essential oils), and a hand treatment (oats, ground almonds and egg yolk).

The series is alright, but they do recycle a lot of tips (I think), like charity shops, college hairdressers and local markets. If you don't have one (or all 3) near you, then it's not so useful.

Timotei conditioner for normal hair - this was originally purchased for my DD but was useless on her tangles so I used it up. It was OK but didnt do much for my hair so for that reason WNBA.

My UUs have been really slow this month, so none to report. However plan to get a couple of Huggies baby wipes through Quidco tomorrow which will hopefully be free :D

no foot cream but lots of body butter so buttering my feet:)

dyed my hair last night and well pleased with the light golden brown,am gradually going lighter so grey blends in better, love the sun kissed luck and guess vibrant red is best left to the youngsters:rotfl:
traded in 9 books with Amazon for £28 and got an extra £5 to use when I buy something:)think the offer is on till May 12th
the books were all house ones I had lusted after but have been in the cupboard for ages so thought they might as well go,strangely one Gok book I am sure I bought on Amazon does not seem to exist so re reading that at the moment.

Off to get hair cut today, hope she listens and does not cut too much!also having the massage treatment so should help in the sun:)

I agree with you. The prices in the charity shops in our two local towns are unbelievable, you can buy the same item new for pennies more. Paperback books are priced at £3 ish and some of them have the Tesco stickers on at £3.87, crazy.

Did anyone watch the Sewing Bee, I really enjoyed that programme, the lady that won was amazing, that last dress she made fit so perfectly, I wish I could sew like that, I can make home furnishings but have not ventured into dressmaking but do feel inspired.

    I have a uu

Clinique All About Eyes Serum rollerball - this was a GWP and I WNBA, nothing seemed to come out despite squeezing it. The Garnier caffeine eye roll on is much, much better.

Also have two GA to DH

Elemis Revitalise me shower gel - mini - I have 4 more and it is quite a masculine scent so he should like it.

Molton Brown Vitamin AB&C shower gel - mini.

I admit I'm not a big fan of Superscrimpers although I do watch occasionally - a lot of the websites and types of shops they recommend for 'bargains' are mostly in London or sometimes up north. Very little for us South Westerners :D And some of the homemade things like jewellery just look a bit cheap, but that's probably my opinion!

One of my best friends is going abroad to travel the world next month (so very very VERY jealous) so I put a load of sample sized products in a parcel and sent it to her. Hopefully they'll be useful as she can take them with her and they won't take up too much room! So that's 12 items gone. :)

Otherwise, quiet here on the toiletries front. I'm enjoying not feeling the urge to buy anything right now and just motoring through my stash!

Maddiemay, hope you feel better soon!

ooh i love the hoarder next door, it always makes me want to have a tidy round! I think I'll defo have to watch that superscrimpers as I've not been very good at all this month!

I love it too as it makes me look like a Domestic Goddess by comparison :D altho' Mr KM always mutters darkly from his side of the sofa that I have a hoarding problem - can't think what he might be *ahem* referring to.....

Now I have a teensy IN to own up to - I have caved in and bought a Red mag so IN:

Aromatherapy Associates triple rose renewing moisturiser - looking forward to trying this.

On the plus side I haven't renewed my Am beauty box so this is my first and so far only IN of the month. I am not plumping up my naughty step cushion just yet as I also have several OUTs to report:

Kate Moss Lilabelle 2ml size - couldn't finish this I am afraid as it was just too cloying on me. WNBA,

Liz Earle orange flower botanical body wash 30ml - love this but have several full sizes of this in the stash so not buying more any time soon

Elemis exotic lime and ginger body wash 50ml - nice but WNBA - have other shower products that I prefer

Elemis exotic lime and ginger body lotion 50ml - as above really

Percy & Reed conditioner - from the Glamour mag promotion last year - WNBA as this, along with the shampoo, did absolutely nothing for my hair. Haven't used a conditioner at all today and my hair looks 10 times better. Not for me I am afraid. Didn't bother with this years Glamour P&R offering.

Boots No 7 stay perfect eye shadow base - HG product for me - have more already in the stash as I would never be without this. Tend to stock up when there are No 7 promotions or offers when I am down to 1 in use and 1 in the stash

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and Maddiemay, hope you are having a better day today. I have an unexpected day off as I had a hospital appt this morning - I was 40 mins early and got whisked in straight away which was great. Have taken a days leave so having a lazy time getting ready for DD2 b'day tomorrow and catching up with the washing, this thread etc.

    Helloooooo!

    Couple of things to report...

Dentyl Mouthwash Fresh Clove 500ml - UU - WNBA, I love Dentyl but this was a bit odd, a bit sort of...peppery but mild peppery-vanilla if that makes sense?
Philosophy The microdelivery exfoliating wash sample 6ml - UU - WMBA, not sure it's any better than a much cheaper one!
Betty & Walter Fig & Pink Pepper Body Scrub 200ml - NBI - it comes from my stash of gift sets

I'm having a lovely afternoon post exam, playing with my toiletries. It's so fun to re-organise! Think I might put on Hoarders in the background, I love that programme! :)

    UU:
Sanctuary Mande Lular Body Souffle 100ml - lovely scent and nice product but probably WNBA

    TA:
L'Oreal Renewal Lash Serum - this is over a year old so probably not a good idea to use in the eye area anymore

    Xxx
