    in other news though.....

I have a new dog. Some of you have seen her - shes called Olive and I got her from Battersea. Shes bonkers. :D
    and
Grape has finally ovulated !!! :D:D:D (Grape is my horse for anyone wondering what strange sexual fetishes I have involving fruit) So we need to wait two weeks till they can scan to see if shes in foal....

also - anyone else want to admin on the facebook page? :)

Minicooper - thats disgraceful !!! No matter what the reason, if someone wants an appointment then its NEVER a waste....

How rude of her!!! I appreciate they need to take details when emergency appointments etc as helps the doctors prioritise etc but for her to comment of what you want an appointment for is completely inappropriate..!!

Hope your okay and your doing the right thing you have the right to know what is affecting your life on a daily basis...!!

    Hugs ;)

I'll be fine, it's just really ruffled me up the wrong way, and I've not been able to ignore her comments - still thinking what I should have said to her 7 hours on!
  • Minicooper - I swear there is a special training course for medical receptionists to make them so rude (and downright nosy!) I have never ever managed to make an appointment for a doctors without getting past some battleaxe or other.

Josslette - this is what I do with my make up stash. I go through at the weekend to see what I might fancy using and leave it all on my dressing table. If it isn't right in front of me there is no chance I'll use it before work!

For me, its day 8 of April and I don't have a sniff of a UU yet  I'm hoping something will finish before the end of the month
No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
    35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins
  • UU l'occitane Verbena soap WBA this was a house brick and has lasted yonks but finally got so small and snapped in half and went mushy so binned the last bit.

Ins Avon smokey plumes nail polish and on point eyeliner in lavender grey
  • No UU but have repainted my toes with OPI Lincoln Park After Dark topped with Dollish Polish Vampires Coven.

Any recommendations for polish thinner ladies as my aged OPI was a little gloopy.
    No more buying toiletries

I'm used to small town practices, where the receptionist is usually very helpful. This place is a shock to my system - last time I phoned the male receptionist refused to give me an appt until I admitted (at work) that it was because I was fainting on a monthly basis (if you follow me), which was very embarrassing!

I've got a bar of this and I have noticed that it looks a bit like a brick before I've got anywhere near using it. I have the same plans for it as I had for my Clinique facial soap - a sharp, large knife and some patience to cut it in half.
