Glad you had a good Silver Wedding celebration Taplady, my eldest DD celebrates hers this August and I will have to think of a suitable silver present for her and her OH.
I'm just back from youngest DDs and I had a gorgeous dinner, followed by warm hot chocolate fudge pudding and cream, what a way to celebrate the end of my Lent fast from chocolate :):)and one of my dear grandsons our 'gentle Jack' gave me an easter egg as he said I was a good Granny to not eat any chocolate for Lent (he fell by the wayside as he had sworn off cheese toasties but gran's cheese toasties (after school are irisistable :):))Bless him he is a dear little chap, even his brothers call him 'Gentle Jack' ,he is such an easy going and kind hearted boy.
So I have a chocolate egg in the fridge which I shall enjoy during the week
Eldest DD is having a good time in Boston they went to the Cheers bar where it was shot and her and her OH had a drink there and tomorrow they are hitting the outlet centres, she could shop for England I think, but to be fair she is going to look for a summer dressing gown for me in cotton also some trainers which are a lot cheaper in the US than here, she's already bought me my perfume that I asked her to get in the duty free at Heathrow yesterday.
Right I'm off to have a read and a cuppa
good night God bless all here

Hope everyone has had a lovely Easter Sunday.

Not getting much chance to post these days, apart from this time of night when I think there is no one around. Enjoy Easter Monday and I do hope we get some sunshine.
