    Morning all,

    Happy Easter to everyone,๐Ÿ‘’๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฃ

Well I was going to cook something scrumy for lunch but I shan't bother now everyone round to Beth for lunch:beer::j

We've also slept late, I'm finally easing of the painkillers a bit and coming to the end of my antibiotics so have my fingers crossed its getting better. Have to go back for the final filling next Monday thank goodness.
Watched a fabulous Spanish film last night, Secrets in their Eyes. It was on BBC4. Really good kept both me and dh quiet for a couple of hours:D
Planning on a quietish day today as we have the family coming over tomorrow instead. Although not cooking anything traditional, shall make a huge chilli, rice and garlic bread and everyone can help themselves.
Today I want to list a few more bits on eBay, and probably get dressed as I didn't yesterday :o, probably eat some nice chocolate and generally watch Easter films, I also want to find a nice little simple cardigan pattern for baby bump.

Have a lovely day whatever your up to x

Good morning and a very Happy Easter.

It's a beautiful morning in West Yorkshire. Just had a coffee and cornflakes - covered in chocolate, complete with a malteaser bunny and mini eggs! That's my chocolate fix for the day, back to the diet.
    Slow roasted pork for tea.

    Have a lovely day.

Hi all; and Happy Easter to all who celebrate it.:o:easter_ba
Halight Cheep, cheep, cheep. cheepity CHEEEEEEP!!:D
Just a quick one from me, we got a call from the vet yesterday confirming little dogs diabetis, so we are off there at 9.30 to learn how to give her the jabs etc.
    Aww, bless her.

Just waiting for our veggie toad-in-the-hole to cook, then we'll be having our dins.;)

Mary's back with us; she stayed with the franchisee because we were going to be out for four hours, too long for her to be left. We went to see the Welsh National Opera production of Madam Butterfly; it was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. :T

The franchisee is having Mary back Thursday evening til Saturday morning, as I have to be out most of Friday (medical stuff - boo, hiss); then Mary will be back with me yet again.:o Her folks are away for a whole month!

Ah, just looking at the timer, and dins will be ready in a few minutes, so I must go and get some "eating irons" out, as Mr LW calls the cutlery.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Happy Easter!
Afternoon all! In chez jools tradition, I have an easter pig! Don't eat chocolate, and not sure what a pink chocolate percy will taste like, but DD bought it for me so may nibble a bit later. Not sure whats for dinner, as DD is going to BFs, and DS is out, will have a rummage in a bit, I know I have roast beef and gravy in the freezer so may defrost some of that. Will pop over to see FIL, his antibiotics are starting to kick in, apparently he was much more alert yesterday.
    Have a good day all!

Lunch was a cheese and pickle sandwich a large pot of coffee and a couple of plums. The coffee was made from my DGS stash that he gives to me .
I get all sorts of flavoured coffee from him as his Mum only likes the ordinary plain Columbian stuff.I opened up one with "hints of caramel and coconut" according to the blurb and very nice it was as well.I get a 250gm pack of different flavours, depending on what his chums at work decide they don't fancy. I have had one flavoured with "almonds and marzipan" and another with 'hints of dark velvety chocolate" and even one with a"touch of the carribean with rum" God knows where they get it from, but I'm not complaining as I do go through a fair amount of ground coffee and as its a freebie its brilliant.I just love reading the outside blurbs on the packet and wonder who sits down and writes this stuff :):)
I'll shortly be off to Dds for a noisy game of cards with the boys, and scrabble with DD, then dinner around 6 ish, I think we're having lamb this week and my son-in-law does a pretty good roast leg of lamb so that will be nice. No shopping to be got for a few days at least and isn't it nice to think the supermarkets are closed and the country hasn't ground to a halt :):) takes me back to the days when shops did close on a Sunday and we all managed to survive until Monday. :):)
Right enjoy your eggs them that have them and the peace and quiet of a sunday afternoon
    Cheers chums

    Happy Easter everyone,

Not posted much,I seem to keep running out of time and not caught up properly on everyones news, though I was sorry to hear Redrubys little dog has diabetes-hope you got on ok at the vets.

We're having a turkey crown with all the trimmings, apple crumble to follow, though I think only DH & I are in for tea.Had a nice weekend up to now-took DGD to a big park on Friday with DS2 & Dil2b(some of her family were there too) though it was freezing it was nice and bright.
Last night we went out for a chinese buffet with some friends which was excellent value and enjoyed by all. This morning we took up some bags of kindling to our friends from the tree that came down, they have an open fire so it was appreciated and several cups of tea were downed. They'd forgotten about the hour going forward and were still in pjs:rotfl:

Anyway better go and check the turkey-bye for now and hugs to those in need of one x

Oh I wish.......We were up at the crack of dawn (literally) as all three of my kids who are working were on an early shift starting at 6 (so 5 really):eek::eek: DS2 was so worried that he wouldn't wake up so I agreed to make sure he was up and ready but he was awake anyway as he had been too anxious to sleep properly. He is shattered now and I have been back to bed for about three hours. This time shift always plays havoc with my internal clock:( Spare a thought for all those nurses and midwives on the night shift who wont get paid for that extra hours work!!

Anyway Happy Easter - very quiet here and no special meal today. Kid's Dad is just too tired to cook and kid's in and out all day.
We are gearing up for my Dad's operation - a hip replacement. It will be so good for him.

Hugs for a good day and specially to Red Ruby and her little doggy x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
