Logie, hope your son loved his cake and is having a wonderful birthday.

Thank you, he does love the cake :D Have not cut it yet, want to make sure my sis sees it first. He has been spoilt and has spent the morning with my Mum playing with all of his new toys having a great time :)

Afraid i'm on quite a downer though :( Went to hospital for chemo. Was all :j:j:j about it being last one, took card and chocs/hand cream for staff. But blood count was so low that consultant said I couldn't have chemo and have to go back next week. Immediately burst into tears and have been up and down since. Just feels like the goal posts have been moved bth_Smiley-Crying.gif Means as well that i'm basically stuck at home now for a fortnight instead of a week. Guess it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but i'm having an 'it's not fair' paddy about it :o

Anyway, best get off here and have a play with the boy :p Catch up later when hopefully i'll have pulled myself together :)

Gutted for you. Just think that the goal posts have only been nudged along slightly. 2 weeks time and hopefully it will all be over.

Logie what a bummer about your chemo :( No wonder you're upset, building yourself up for the last one. Hopefully the next week will fly by and you'll be up to it next week. Nothing wrong with the odd paddy ;)

I hope your son has a great day and enjoys that amazing cake x
  • Logie. You are a very brave and inspirational lady. I'd be proud to have you as my daughter. Keep your spirit up and show your son what you are made of. I too, admired your cake.

When things like this happen - I thank my lucky stars for my minor problems.

    Best of luck to you.

Well I went to our shiny new Marks this morning and it also has a cafe and its open 8 to 8 so a good addition to our portfolio of supermarkets.

I was going to just dash home to check the updates but I am now pinned to the sofa by Sophie who must have got really cold outside this morning, purring her head off :)

I am now even more confused, had hoped to just follow some lists this morning :D

So its Sada v sainsbobs for a cheese shop. One light mature and one mat??? I also noticed Pepsi max eight can packs £2.50/£1.99 so a good filler.
So if I also get 6 simples will this give me too big an APG - not that I've worked out which 6 simples and not that I can actually justify getting simples unless the glitch is really good :D

And Sheba salmon is a Sada v tosco shop?

I also like the bold lavender someone thought of this morning £7/£3 - this might be just what I need with a selection of del montes and canned toms to get a £20 shop together for tosco

My 6 mixed 'Simples' are due back around 4pm if that will help.

Logie , sorry to hear this, it must have felt like a slap in the face when you'd been looking forward to getting it finished. Hugs x. As you say, though, a week isn't too much in the scheme of things. Just look after yourself, hunny, we're all here for you xxx.
    Hope is not a strategy.
