I haven't tried the Finest shops yet but have three of the four above. I always avoid Milk as £1 each in As normally mucks up APGs (I did try once vM with 3 as they were 3 for £3 but it came back NA so haven't tried since).

You need to be getting the 1% milk vs S. You're right though, all the other 4pt milk is £1.29 each elsewhere (£1.49 M). One wonders how T can have it on-shelf for £1.29 when A is selling it for £1.

Regarding Morries, you're also correct - the N/As do discourage us (me) from doing vs M, at least on glitch shops, and last time my mix and match vs M gave £1.49x2 on the 1% and £1.49 on the semi-skimmed and thus compared vs Sains! (That one is going to CS.) I suspect the semiskimmed, if you've been trying that, was coming back N/A (first the 1% came back N/A, then they picked that up but then missed off the Semi-skimmed! It's hardly as if they are really obscure items, like everything, it's just human error isn't it?) The 1% x3 seemed to be fixed last week (although I don't know if 3x Semi worked then) - I have no idea which or what works this week!

    Evening all,

Thanks for those who have been thinking of me :A

Have sort of caught up with a hop, skip and a jump, apologies for the lack of thanks; was a mad skimming session :o

Am struggling a little again at the mo, largely due to there being 3 cases of man flu in our house too. I feel your pain Enterprise :p Have spent past 3 nights sleeping on sofa so the OH can get a good rest before work whilst I avoid catching his [STRIKE]sniffle[/STRIKE] terrible illness. Baby H was unsettled last night and was on sofa with me for all but 2 hours. DH then had the cheek to say he was in a bad mood as he'd not slept well  Am increasingly breathless and tired, but mouth better now and nausea easing a little.

Will stop moaning now as things could be worse :o

Thankfully a friend offered to have DS1 this morning while OH was at work. Her DS is the same age and goes to the same nursery and they play nicely together. He had a lovely time and I didn't have to run around after 2 children :D Managed a little rest and planning for the requested Postman Pat birthday cake :) No party this year so got to make a bit of an effort ;)

Hugs to all that need them, seem to be a few :(

Glad to read your good news Rhosynbach :)

Well done DM and Elite on the sweepstake :T

Sorry if I've missed anything else vital, crappy memory strikes again :o

Logie I think dh would sleep better on sofa so at least you have room for baby H in bed with you.
I know how important it is to avoid others germs and it is impossible when bought home.
Hope you sleep better tonight, if you don't come back here and tell us, appears to have been an all night session last night.
Dis you have any luck with the mr shoes glitches? I didn't, by the time I got there there was nothing left:eek:
Am thinking about getting ds2 a watch from johngreed for his birthday but not sure which one to get. I like the armarni exchange ones but not sure. Still they are a very good price that I can't match elsewhere so think I will go for it. At least I will get the free necklace and as his birthday is within 30 days can change if not to his taste.

Evening Elite - just caught up as have been busy today. Took my brother to get a new bathroom cabinet and a garden storage cabinet, then we had great fun putting the storage bin together ..... :p .... and got it outside, perfect, just what he needed. I have been rewriting the celebrant's service speech as she really hadn't caught the gist of what Mam was about, and I think it relects her life to a T now :D My sister and I later downloaded 'She'll be coming round the mountain' onto CD and had good fun singing along again :j
I've just got off the phone to red spotted hanky because I'm trying to amend an order.

I've never dealt with a more helpless, useless company, ever

They can't amend my booking on the phone. They can't cancel my booking. Their answer to my problem is to shut down and restart and clear my history.

    Bloody useless

I have used RSH loads in the past 2 1/2 years in going up and down the East Coast line to visit Mam, and found them great .............. until something goes wrong   It once took them 5 attempts to get me the right tickets for one journey
3Dogs, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss today. Words escape me and I don't think I could say anything better than all your friends on the Elite have already said.

I came across a poem yesterday which seemed to describe my relationship with my FIL to a tee. Perhaps you might take something from it too?

Feel no guilt in laughter, she'd know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that she’s not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever, she would not want you to.
She'd hope that you could carry on the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you, a word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day,
That brings her back as clearly as though she were still here,
And fills you with the feeling that she is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
And she will live forever locked safely within your heart

I had decided to read a verse at Mam's funeral and have looked at several posted on here, online and suggested by the Celebrant, but have gone for this one as it feels just right, so thank you so much SFSB. I have changed the 'you' to 'we/us' throughout as it sounds better to me that way as I read it out to everyone, more inclusive
Thank you to everyone for your kind words.

Mum's just off the phone, it's not looking good :( I'm in tears as I type this.
His brain hasn't developed properly and it looks like there's a gap in his spinal cord, the lump on the back of his head is more than likely spinal fluid. They're thinking spina bifida so have given her an appointment with a specialist consultant for Wednesday so he can get a look and let her know her options.
No matter what she's told them he'll be born and loved for whatever time he's here for.
So please if anyone's any spare prayers or positive thoughts send them to this baby. Xxx

Praying for your cousin and the poor baby SD :A
