Back from A - two shops and three receipts.
But the womble a pretty useless one (not as bad as one from last night, which unbelievably I didn't get to mentioning - they bought exactly 8 different items yes - but their eighth item of choice was a picnic set:mad:. Not a grocery item, so not 8 different grocery items. Great shame when all the other items on that receipt seem to be quite high priced - if they just needed that number of items, why oh why didn't they mix and match on the Coke? Just one different bottle would have done).
Now another zero return:
They were okay when they bought all this (vs Tosco):
0.21 x ASDA Mushrooms by Weight (100g)£0.55£0.56
1 x ASDA Smartprice Dog Meal (4Kg)£1.98N/A
1 x ASDA White Potatoes (2.5Kg)£1.80£1.50
1 x Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce (150ml)£1.16£1.19
1 x Brown & Polson Cornflour (500g)£1.40N/A
1 x Bisto Chip Shop Curry Sauce Granules (300g)£1.50N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Frozen Mushy Peas (1Kg)£1.00N/A
1 x ASDA Onions (4)£0.85N/A
1 x Super Chunks Chicken Dog Food (1.25Kg)£1.08N/A
That was putting me onto a positive return...
... but then they added these:
1 x Oreo Cookies - Vanilla (154g)£0.50£0.99
1 x Surf Summer D'Reem Bio Liquid Detergent - 25 Washe...£3.00N/A
1 x Comfort Concentrate Fabric Conditioner Sunshiny Da...£2.00£3.30
and lost everything.0 -

She's due a baby in September but none of her pregnancies have ran smoothly, she lost twins, then her second the baby was born with very little heart due to holes all over it and was expected to die within hours but survived and is a very spoilt child:j. Her third was born healthy due to loads of injections from the word go but they made her very ill. The fourth was lost too because she didn't realise she was pregnant until very late on when she and lost the baby soon after.
This time for some unknown reason she hasn't been thoroughly monitored so has only been seeing the midwife and has been desperate to see the baby so She went for one of those gender scans. While getting this scan the operator noticed a growth on the back of the baby's head going down the spine and as they don't have a consultant on the premises they called her own hospital to get her an emergency appointment but that isn't until Monday. She did however ring herself and an on call consultant rang her back for her to go up and get a scan done tonight so she's sitting in the hospital waiting for the consultant getting there.
We're all sitting by our phones waiting to see what's happening, she could do with good news, she doesn't care if the baby's sick just so long as she has him by the end of all this. I just hope we get news soon.
Sorry to bring everything down but I don't want to be burdening DS with it, he knows there's something wrong with the baby but until I know what's what I don't want to tell him more.0 -

As we were making our way around the market we were so confused. Where is everyone?? The trams were so packed! What's going on? Is best friend's mother on drugs?
Fleetwood market stands today as the acid test for carpness with bf and I - as in ''went to xxx, it was really carp'' ''was it as carp as fleetwood market'' ''actually xxx was quite good''
BF that I speak of is currently recuperating from major surgery (replacement jaw joint ) We haven't reminisced over this for a while so when I go up't north and visit her in a few weeks I will remind her of the whole sorry escapade and we will laugh. Well I will, she will hold her face and grimace bless her.0 -

Evening all,
Thanks for those who have been thinking of me :A
Have sort of caught up with a hop, skip and a jump, apologies for the lack of thanks; was a mad skimming session
Am struggling a little again at the mo, largely due to there being 3 cases of man flu in our house too. I feel your pain EnterpriseHave spent past 3 nights sleeping on sofa so the OH can get a good rest before work whilst I avoid catching his [STRIKE]sniffle[/STRIKE] terrible illness. Baby H was unsettled last night and was on sofa with me for all but 2 hours. DH then had the cheek to say he was in a bad mood as he'd not slept well  Am increasingly breathless and tired, but mouth better now and nausea easing a little.
Will stop moaning now as things could be worse
Thankfully a friend offered to have DS1 this morning while OH was at work. Her DS is the same age and goes to the same nursery and they play nicely together. He had a lovely time and I didn't have to run around after 2 childrenManaged a little rest and planning for the requested Postman Pat birthday cake
No party this year so got to make a bit of an effort
Hugs to all that need them, seem to be a few
Glad to read your good news Rhosynbach
Well done DM and Elite on the sweepstake :T
Sorry if I've missed anything else vital, crappy memory strikes again♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
