My Mum used to keep (and still does) all of her sewing stuff in a Quality Street tin (the mahoosive ones and not the diddly little ones they try and palm us off with). Needles, buttons, cotton, patches of denim, the lot. It was like a freaking tardis. If you popped it open you'd spend half an hour picking stuff off the floor. By which time Mum would have mended the garment. Dad used to keep cake bars and biscuits in a Quality Street tin too. Mad used to like swapping them around :rotfl:
Naughty mad sawpping them around :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: my mum also had a baby box that opened out and this had all her lace, elastic, bias binding, machine and hand needles etc in, this box was what she had for my sister in 1966

Just keep the dog outside 12 months of the year.

Apparently this creates a 'barking' problem, which in turn creates a neighbour problem:D

For anyone looking for the digital luggage scales in T's, it may be worth re-checking your store. One of mine had restocked tonight, 10 on a clip strip in the luggage aisle with a red SEL of £8.00, but they are still scanning at £1.00.
