Well at the moment with our lovely DD12 I would arm wrestle DH for the privilege of preparing the evening meal whilst he takes DD swimming:p Such a delight at this age.:(

I recognise you David and I'm assuming the one in the middle is QoC. But who is the other one?:)

I reckon David on the left, QOC on the right and a trolley boy in the middle - checking his pockets for wombles.:p;)

    Evening all

Not caught up but well done[ B]mad[/B]:j

I have just had an amzing charity shop find (well to me anyway and sure julieelizabeth and bubbs will understand.)
I found a wooden sewing box the type that opens out into layers. Not that interesting in itself but it was obviously someones pride and joy once as is full of bits and bobs. I wanted to buy the buttons but they wouldnt split it up so bought the lot for a eye watering £60

Its like a time machine and I know quite a lot will be of interest to vintage collecters. Was purse inside full of the ladies wage slips from 1971 and some of the name labels we used to have sewn into our school clothes. Son obivously all grown up but they had been kept. Might have a nose around online as have ladies address be nice to know who she was.
Shop also had her singer sewing machine complete with the table but I have too many old singers as it is.
Lots of zips which can be recycled to make lovely flowers and anything not needed by myself or not worth fleabaying I know my art techer can use for her special needs classes as they do a lot using buttons.

Another plus I have finally got my clubcard points from the blinkbox promotion. Blinkbox said it was t's being slow sand have waited alone time so emailed t's last night and points added today.

Got a nice set of britsh baking scales reduced in sainsbobs and might have found a bargain. JML stuff all 70% off.

Mad I've got a terrible confession.

DD and I were messing on with this photograph. I didn't want to open my cream just for a photograph so we cheated and used milk

    Not quite the same somehow:T
