Trulymadly and midwinter thanks for your support,to be honest I would need a crystal ball to know how long this could last afraid the damage is not likely to repair itself although if I can get rid of the infection some of the function could return, have been here before and was on dialysis which if I needed too I know I can go back too, just would prefer not too:(
thanks to all who have replied, it makes me smile to know that so many caring people are on this thread.
Hoping the consultants can get the infection under control then for you.The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
For those with pet insurance, I'm looking to insure Sam, but how does the excess work?
I have done a quote with Morethan, and the basic 'accident only' cover is £8 per month. The excess is £75.
If it was something minor, say a sprained leg or something, would it be worth claiming, or would a vet charge less than £75 to treat it?
I've never had pet insurance before and never made a claim on any other.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

And DM too. Dave if I had a bottle I'd give it to you.:o
Agree with you here TM. SFSB certainly deserves a bottle after the efforts he has put in for the rest of us. He can have a virtual bottle from me:)
Although it pains me to say it,even DiM should have got some for all the effort he put in last night:rotfl::rotfl:Awaiting a new sig0 -
Afternoon all
Hope you all having a good day
I had a manic morning getting organised, then got dropped off early at the hospital so I could pop in to my department and drop my sick note in. My maternity leave officially end this weekend so at least I should start getting paid again for a while. Have now got 1 year to get better and back to work before my contact is terminated so got to hope everything goes smoothly with rest of my treatment.
Am about half way through todays chemo now and have had a nice little sleep for a few hoursHave had message from consultant that he wants me to have bloods repeated on Monday so will now have the fun job of trying to organise childcare for that when I get home
Anyway, going to stay positive, I am now officially in cycle 6/6 :j:j
Logie, you're an inspiration hun.
I take it 6/6 means you're nearly at the end? (Sorry if I sound dumb, not sure how it all works)Good afternoon all, just back from the hospital (again) and the results of my biopsy are complicated, this is my second transplant kidney 3 years ago, first only limped along for a few weeks, but this one has been giving a good 26% function until I got a e-coli infection last month and gp gave me an inappropriate antibiotic!! so now the damage is done either by the infection or the antibiotic and my renal function is at 13% just so ticked off as I waited 10 years for the call in the first place and one tiny hic-cup and I feel bombed out, sorry to moan will allow myself this one day then it's back to making the best of it.:o
Leaving you huge hugs izzy, do you go back on the waiting list again now then?Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Anybody need a 'new' PC? Refurb with 20% code gives 20% off then TCB/Quidco gives another 5% off making this £150 http://www.bargaincrazy.com/electrical/refurbished-computing/packard-bell-imedia-amd-e-series-processor-4gb-1tb-base-unit-1
I've had refurbs from them before and they were brand new, there's a 12 month g'tee anyway. Can't give codes here but easily found or PM me. Last day to use code. There'll only be a couple so be quick. Good solid PC.0 -
I emailed ts cs the other week witg screen shots of the pp, t.com prices & competitor prices. It is as you say the basket total not what they are driveling about.
I got the £2.50 I missed out on and an extra £2.50 on top x
I wish I'd done that instead, I spent an hour on the phone overall but did eventually get them to see it from my point of view. Don't know if they actually did or if they just wanted me to get off the phone!
Got a giftcard coming my way now but did feel embarrassed when I got off the phone.
Was told the TPP system isn't meant to be exploited the way I was doing it and also DH has pointed out to me in the T&C on the website it might not be 'in the spirit' of the TPP to be researching my shopping before going out and doing it.
I'm hoping the elite can perk me back up again because I'm left with a nasty feeling that my whole account may be screwed over by me complainingHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

I just want to say a big thank you to everyone for your thoughts and wishes for DS and I over the past few days, it's more than we got in RL
just more hassle from some people who are more interested in trying to ease their guilt over how they treated DH but I told them to tell someone who cared because I wasn't going to give them the response that they wanted.
It's been hard for us both, DS has just had a big break down and is cuddled up to me at the moment going through old photos. I don't know what else to do with him, he was fine until this afternoon but I couldn't calm him down earlier so we both just sat and cried, I felt so helpless.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Ok no probs:) I could always buy them on your behalf if you really wanted some? If not I'll point someone else in their direction:)
Wasn't sure whether to go tonight as there's nothing I need at the moment but DD is home and wanting to see what happens so we might have a run down for the experience. We are going to be eating late anyway as I got a whoopsied pork shoulder joint out of the freezer yesterday and didn't realise how big it was......6 hours cooking time:eek::eek: On the plus side there's now a big space in the freezer;)
I have no need of the scales really, you are turning me as bad as you thinking well they are only a £1 :rotfl:When The Fun Stops Stop0
