    I disagree with the above advice as PE have picked on a few 'ignorers'. If I got a fake PCN from any AOS member in England/Wales now, I would strongly challenge it and then appeal it to POPLA.

    Not difficult, just challenge the legality of the charge at this stage and it's not as complicated as it first seems if you just read this thread:

    ...when you get a rejection then you'll know what to do, if they give you a POPLA code or not. You can see the options discussed in that pepipoo thread and they are specific to Parking Eye. Look at Broadsword's posts.
