Talk Mobile now increasing prices for pay monthly contracts - by a "small" inflationary amount. When I took out the contract 13 months ago they told me that the contract was "fixed" for 2 years.

Unfortunatly there is no such things in the T&Cs they will have somewhere that says they can increase by inflation rate during contract period

Yes they do, but when their agent states at the point of contract (when asked) doesn't that form part of the contract?

Of course it does. And when you produce the recording of the conversation and thrust it under their noses, you have good grounds to claim mis-selling.
