New phone+contract needed- don't know where to start!
Hi,
I have just got my latest bill which was for 3 mins calls, and 150 texts and added up to £34! I think this is extortionate!
150 texts is average, and for some reason the no. of mins is lower than normal- normally I'd use up to 100 a month.
I'm on an Orange contract which is over 18 months old (although I've been with Orange on the same no. since 2000) and so I'm in a position to change but don't know where to start. I have read various things on here, including Martin's thread on hammering down contracts etc but am happy to start a fresh one!
I don't know whether to go with PAYG or stick with contract, and whether cashback is really worth it (esp as we're moving house in Aug and I'm worried new address etc might complicate things as some cashback companies on here seem a bit tricky?).
I don't need a posh phone but wouldn't mind one with a camera...?!
I just don't know where to start and whether anyone could give me any tips on safe, trustworthy places to start...

Hope someone can help!
THANKS!

Three.co.uk are doing some great contract deals at the moment, refurb modern phones (limited choice) at £15.00 a month. and its not a cashback deal, its literally £15 a month.
I have just got one and I have 500 free anytime minutes to any network and landlines a month, with no texts ( I don't send many though)
They have another deal at the same price for texters.
I am very happy so far, been with them for a month.
I know people used to complain about them a lot, I think they have improved since then.I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0
